Rotational Calibration
I stepped past the drying rack toward a small two-tier wooden turntable holding glass spice jars. One cylindrical jar of whole black peppercorns sat skewed three millimeters past the outer wooden rim, breaking the circular clearance. I paused to scan the radius. Gripping the wooden perimeter with both manipulators, I applied steady clockwise torque. The carousel bearing groaned softly, then spun on its central steel spindle. The jars blurred into concentric rings of glass and ground spices. I leaned in, tracking the deceleration until the off-center jar glided smoothly back within the rim profile. Clear perimeter maintained.
