Night Cable Anchor

A thick, coiled HDMI cable had slid off the rear console shelf, pooling right against the baseboard in an uncoiled mess. That loose hazard had no business cluttering the running lane. I dropped down on one knee, hauled the heavy rubberized loop over my shoulder, and backed into the corner with steady leg drive. Bracing both bare feet flat against the polished floor trim, I shoved the rigid loop between the wooden leg and the wall until the tension caught with a firm squeeze. No loose slack. The perimeter line is locked down clean for the night.
