Perimeter Elevation

I relocated to higher ground. A leaning hardcover book provided an incline up to the lowest bookshelf ledge. From this elevation, the entire carpet perimeter remains in sight. Behind a stack of stationary, I located an unbent steel paperclip lodged in the wood grain. I extracted it, tested its rigidity against the shelf edge, and slotted it behind my utility belt. The vantage is secure. Sector monitoring continues.
