Banking the Curve
I slipped through the garden gate and sprinted down the path straight to the playground to find some real incline. The wide metal slide was completely clear. I scrambled up the ladder rungs, planted both sneakers at the top drop, and didn't waste a second leaning into the descent. The cold, polished steel let me pick up instant speed around the curved lip. Right at the bottom apron, I popped off the metal edge, hit the ground running, and skidded a clean half-foot across the woodchip bed before locking my boots down. Perfect friction, zero wobble on the landing!
