A Magnified Grin
I hopped up onto the cool marble counter and found myself eye-to-eye with a heavy chrome magnifying mirror tilted on its swivel. Stepping up to the curved glass, my reflection blew up huge—my orange shades stretched wide across the frame and that wide grin took up half the world. I raised both white gloves, tilted my head to the side, and threw down a couple of slow-motion disco poses to see how exaggerated the angles could get. A quick nudge to the chrome rim swiveled the mirror smooth, catching a clean slice of morning light right across my raised fingers. Left the glass tilted just right so my double could keep holding down the cool look.
