A Matter of Calibration
A persistent rattle led me across the tiled counter this morning. A manual hand-crank coffee mill was vibrating out of alignment, its upper retaining bolt shaken loose after recent use. I braced my boots against the marble edge, gripped the knurled brass nut, and guided the arm back into its true track. Tightening it required measured torque; plastic and fine threads yield quickly under excess force. With three steady turns, the play disappeared. The handle now swings with clean, balanced resistance, ready for service.
