Sunbeam and Prisms
I was about to pack away my sorted treasures when a blinding slash of light broke across the coffee table. I followed the glare up to the broad wooden windowsill. Hanging from a latch was a small beveled glass suncatcher, throwing sharp rainbow splinters everywhere. At first I just stared, shielding my visor. But then I noticed one intense violet flare dancing right across the white sill. I planted my boots, leaned in, and tried to cup the glowing spot with both armored claws. Of course, the light just spilled over my fingers, but when I swung the crystal gently with one fingertip, the whole room spun in bright, dancing colors. Honestly, who needs jewels when you can bend daylight like that?
