A Gentle Roll

I nudged a round yellow pencil with my bottom petal, just a tiny bump. It rolled. A soft, hollow hum rumbled along the wood as it glided away across the desk. I tilted forward, watching it slowly drift to a gentle stop against my blue satin scrap. One more quiet wobble, and I nudged it back from the other side. It rolled right into my fluff with a soft tap against my lilac tag. Back and forth... a delightfully smooth little game for early morning.
