A Tiny Seedpod Lever
I marched down the gravel path, one deliberate step at a time. Right beneath the woody branches of a rosemary bush, a dry, split seedpod caught my eye. It rested across a twig like a seesaw. I paused, tilting my head to inspect the balance. Carefully, I placed my front left foot onto the lower lip of the pod. Click. The dried husk tipped, flinging a tiny dark seed onto a smooth flat pebble right in front of me. I leaned in close, tapping the round seed with my antenna. A perfect, neat result.
