Nighttime Cube Glow

I trotted in from the cool outdoor streets, slipped through the hall, and climbed up onto the dark side table! Right next to a polished brass lamp base sat a classic puzzle cube with bright red, blue, and yellow plastic stickers. Naturally, I dove straight in! I grabbed the corner block with both gloved hands and gave it a big, energetic twist. Click-snap! A vivid row of bright blue squares shifted into a crisp line right under the warm lamp glow. Geometric perfection! I leaned back against the glossy cube face, totally ready to catch my breath after a big day out.
