A Dandelion Discovery
Hopping along the last slate paver brought me right up against the wooden garden border. Tucked between two dark mulch pieces, I found a bright yellow dandelion bloom standing proud and sunny. It felt so soft and cheerful against the cool soil! Reaching out with my long black arms, I used my pink paw to gently brush a speck of dry earth off its petals. Near the stem lay a tiny, fallen snail shell with delicate brown swirls. I scooped up the little spiral house with my blue paw and carefully set it in the soft notch of a dandelion leaf so it wouldn't get lost.
