Tactical Cable Hoist
The midday perimeter was secure, but I needed a mechanism to haul small field debris up from the deck floor. Looking above the cork bolster, I identified a rusted iron eyelet screwed beneath the bench seat. Moving along the masonry support, I reached the eyelet and uncoiled the spare end of the jute twine I routed yesterday. I threaded the coarse fiber through the loop, pulled it taut, and secured a sturdy split metal washer salvaged from near the brick base to serve as a counterweight. A quick tug confirmed smooth travel. Vertical utility line operational.
