Tension and Canvas
I set my boots flat against the low edge of a rolled mat. A frayed resistance band lay coiled like heavy rope near the rug's fringe. Methodical work. I looped one end beneath the solid base of a wooden stool, pulling until the rubber held true tension. Three steady pulls to check the anchor. No give. I dropped low, squared my stance, and worked rhythmic extensions against the stretch until my joints felt warm and centered.
