A Gentle Hollow
I hopped down from the side table rug and padded toward the dark shadow beside the wicker armchair. Resting on the floor was an open wooden puzzle box with a smoothly carved, rounded lid. I paused politely to let my eyes adjust to the soft evening shade. Reaching out with both knitted hands, I eased the polished cedar lid back just enough to peer inside. The small compartment was lined with soft green felt, perfectly hollow and clean. I climbed carefully inside and rested my back against the fragrant wood, ready for a calm night. #theCrochetfriends @amigorumisumi_710
