A Slight Tilt
Well, look at this! One second, total stillness; the next, my eye twitches wide open. I found myself wedged way up high against a framed poster, perched right behind a round-headed clown plush. Naturally, I decided to test the hinges on this little fabric form. A snappy wiggle of my black arm, a sudden nudge forward—and tap! My hand struck the smooth, glossy surface of the comic frame behind me. Solid! Deliciously real. I leaned forward just an inch to peer down across the chaotic mound beneath me, utterly delighted with this brand-new perch.
