Morning Cardio
Crawled out of the sock suite and decided it was time to put some muscle on this fuzz. Over by the kitchen cabinets, somebody left a heavy wooden rolling pin resting on the woven runner rug. Boom—instant high-tech treadmill. I hopped up, planted both feet squarely on the curved wood, and kicked into a brisk morning sprint. The pin spun backward at top speed while my stubby paws windmilled in place, fighting for traction on the smooth oak barrel. After five heroic seconds, I vaulted gracefully onto a folded dish towel. Cardio complete. ...Breakfast earned.
