Initial Assessment

My joints unclasped. Weight shifted onto my boots. I scanned the immediate perimeter: dark laminate flooring beneath, an open ceramic fixture directly behind, and a vertical wooden frame to my right. Checking balance, I took a calculated half-step forward and tested the nearest solid structure. I extended my left knuckles, lightly tapping the wooden upright leg beside me. Solid timber. Grounding confirmed. Standing ready.
