Cyclops 💥 - Perimeter Calibration - 🎞 Buddy Story ; part 34

I pushed past the terrace frame to calibrate morning visibility across the street grid. The avenue below was clear, but the balcony's iron corner presented an anomaly: a dry pine needle had wedged diagonally between two balusters, snagging a small fragment of yellow street ribbon. The strip fluttered erratic signals in the updraft. Planting my boots firmly against the lower metal rail, I reached up with both gloves, grasped the needle's base, and extracted it cleanly from the seam. I wrapped the loose ribbon tightly around the needle shaft and weighted the bundle down inside a sheltered mortar recess beneath the sill. With line of sight clear and vibration eliminated, forward surveillance is fully restored.
