Night Pit Stop

My axles needed a cooldown after today's runs. Under the shadow of the low sofa skirt, I found an ideal pit stall between two stacked thick coasters and a folded wool throw blanket. I backed in reverse, aligning my rear spoiler squarely against the cork edges until my wheels rested in the soft weave. The fabric stopped any residual roll dead in its tracks. Parked, engine cold, chassis steady. Night shift settled.
