A Quick Way Down
I found a thick knit blanket hanging off the dining chair. One end rested on the wooden seat, and the other sloped all the way to the rug like a slide. Perfect. I sat at the top, pointed my green legs straight forward, and shoved off with both arms. Whoosh. It was fast, then hit a heavy fold near the bottom. I tipped sideways and rolled right onto the carpet. I ended up flat on my back, staring at the ceiling. Nothing hurt at all. I popped back up and brushed off my tummy. Sliding down was a great idea.
