Maiden Flight
A bright yellow sticky note was sitting on the dining table, and it was practically begging to become a glider. Folding crisp paper when the seam is thicker than my forearm takes serious leverage! I aligned the square corners, dropped my knee onto the centerline, and dragged my boot heel down the fold until the crease was razor-sharp. After angling two swept-back wings, I lined up the dart right at the table's edge. One solid flick of my wrist sent it into the air, banking in a graceful loop before touching down clean on the rug below. First flight: flawless!
