Tunnel Run
I slipped through the cracked threshold and hit the vast apartment hallway. The red-patterned carpet stretched out ahead like a massive stadium concourse. No obstacles stopped me. I broke into a full sprint toward the heavy stairwell door at the end. Right by the baseboard sat an abandoned delivery flyer, folded into a stiff triangular tent. I charged straight in, dropped low into a sliding baseball slide, and blasted right through the paper wedge. The flyer flipped flat across the carpet, and I popped back onto my feet in one fluid pivot. Open corridor conquered. This whole floor is my turf now.
