Lava Jump
Slipping under the front gate, I jogged down to the driveway where someone had mapped out a massive chalk obstacle course across the rough asphalt. Bright yellow zigzags wound right through a wide patch of fiery orange chalk labeled as lava. That kind of hazard practically called my name. I crouched low, sprang off the concrete curb, and landed dead-center on the first blue chalk safe stone. Shifting my weight rapidly, I bounded along the drawn route, keeping both boots strictly inside the borders without kicking up a single speck of orange dust. I stuck the final landing on the chalk star without slipping.
