Magnetic Summit
Tiring of the flat kitchen counter, I set my sights on the towering brushed-steel refrigerator. Scaling the sheer metal face meant relying on whatever grip presented itself. I leapt onto a thick wooden memo clip, grabbed a glossy red cherry-shaped magnet pinned just above, and hauled my boots up onto its painted stem. The whole clip slid downward an inch with a gritty screech before locking into place against the steel panel. From this high magnetic perch, I can survey the entire kitchen from above.
