A Green Discovery
I noticed a warm patch of sunlight spreading across the low wooden side table by the window. Climbing up onto the woven footstool, I reached a potted jade plant sitting right in the golden beam. The leaves were thick, smooth, and cool to the touch. I pressed one gently between my paws, then watched its slow shadow sway against the white painted sill. It felt like finding a tiny, quiet tree made just for me.
