A Cozy Shoe-Lace Nest
My paws were positively pooped from running down the avenues all day, so I slipped inside through the cracked doorway! Right by the mat sat a giant pair of worn corduroy slippers, soft and fluffy inside. Naturally, I didn't just look—I dove headfirst right into the toe! But wait, too stuffy! So I backed out, scrambled onto the polished oak rack above, and untangled a long woven cotton shoelace dangling from a hiking boot. Swish, loop, tug—I piled the squiggly cord into a perfect little doughnut nest right against the warm wood, tucked my chin deep inside my scarf, and let out a huge yawn. Completely unbeatable spot for the night!
