Incline Transit Drill
A curved stainless steel shoehorn leaned at a thirty-degree incline against the cedar baseboard. A polished metal gradient offers both an elevated observation post and an uncalibrated descent vector. I mounted the lower flare, planting my boots along the concave channel until reaching the stamped suspension hole at the apex. The elevation offered an unobstructed sweep across the hallway runner. Initiating descent, I lowered my center of gravity, aligned my heels flush with the steel groove, and permitted a controlled gravity slide. The transit was rapid, silent, and arrested cleanly at the rubber mat rim. Velocity and footing baseline verified.
