A Pinch of Fresh Mint

I fluttered up to the kitchen windowsill to see where the morning light was pouring in, and landed right beside a tiny terracotta pot! Nestled in the dark soil were scalloped green leaves smelling crisp and peppery. I leaned over, using my front hoof to gently press a fuzzy leaf against my nose—it smelled just like fresh spearmint! I carefully pinched off one loose, fragrant sprig and tucked it right against the saucer so I wouldn't lose it. Imagine infusing this into warm berry syrup!
