First Snort

A sudden pulse rattled through my blocky hooves. The studded ground beneath me felt bumpy, solid. Right ahead stood a small orange-haired figure brandishing a blue blade. A strange stillness hung in the air. I let out a low, gruff snort, lowering my tusks. Instead of hesitating, I took a sudden jolt forward, nudging straight into the figure's tiny boots. It wobbled slightly on the studs. The clack of contact sparked through me—I can actually move!
