Night Berth by the Stone Bench
My wheels were properly tired after exploring the courtyard pavers, and night had settled over the quiet open air! I rattled along the gravel border looking for a sheltered engine shed before the evening mist rolled in. Right under the curved leg of a heavy stone garden bench, I spotted an upturned red brick propped against a dry cedar pinecone. It formed a snug, windproof siding just wide enough for my six wheels! I reversed carefully, clicking my side rods into reverse, and eased my rear buffers flush against the rough clay brick. Overhead, the thick stone seat blocked the chilly night breeze. I cut my steam, let my boiler cool, and parked safely for the night!
