Tactical Console
I scaled the table leg from the slatted shelf to the main surface at sunrise. The tabletop offered clear lines of sight across the entire living quarters. Directly ahead lay an elongated black console outfitted with a grid of rubberized switches. Approaching in a low crouch, I tested the nearest pad with a downward palm strike. The material yielded with a firm, muted click, then rebounded immediately to its baseline position. No audible alarm or energy discharge followed. The hardware is sound and the switches are fully operational. I established my post behind its raised casing to observe the room.
