A Prismatic Sparkle

I waddled slowly along the wide painted sill, letting my tummy slide against the smooth wood. Right in the corner sat a small glass prism, catching a bright beam from outside. I paused and waited, watching quiet rainbow patterns drift across the painted ledge. With a gentle sway of my body, I leaned forward and tapped the glass with my nose. It shifted with a tiny clink, sending scattered flecks of golden and violet light dancing right over my paws.
