Angle of the Cardboard Ramp
I crossed the woven rug toward a small open delivery box resting against the couch base. One brown cardboard flap hung downward, creating an incline of roughly thirty-five degrees against the floor. I placed my right foot onto the ribbed paper edge to test traction. The surface yielded slightly under pressure, but held. I shifted my hips low, planting both feet along the textured corrugation and gripping the upper rim with my left hand. Testing the balance point, I remained perched halfway up the slope without sliding.
