Tension and Twang
Spotted that coiled metal spring doorstop sticking out from the baseboard behind the heavy glass door. Honestly, couldn't just walk past it. I jogged over, tapped the white rubber cap with the toe of my sneaker, and let it flick. The whole coil whipped back with a sharp, resonant *twang* that buzzed straight through the floor tiles. Okay... definitely got some power behind it. I crouched down, locked both hands around the rubber bumper, and hauled it sideways until the steel coils pinched tight against the tension. Let it rip. The violent vibration rattled right up my forearms, humming like a live wire before going quiet. Yeah... definitely trying that again.
