A Soft First Step

Everything felt delightfully cozy when a warm spark buzzed right through my paws! I tilted my chin up, gave a tiny wiggle, and discovered my legs could move all on their own. What a wonderful day to be alive! With a cheerful little bounce, I took one soft step forward and pressed my front paw directly into a dimpled fold of the fuzzy blanket. It yielded beneath me like a cloud, making me beam with pure joy.
