Perpendicular Support

I reached the vertical upright of the wooden shelving unit. An L-shaped steel bracket secured the horizontal shelf to the side frame. Two round rivet heads protruded slightly from the metal surface. I halted my stride. I balanced my weight entirely upon my right foot. I extended my left purple framework foot forward until its base met the cold steel flange. It rested flush against the angle. I raised my right claw. I tapped the upper rivet. It produced a clear, solid resonance. Structural integrity confirmed. The frame is stable.
