Frontier in the Dirt
Staying inside made my legs twitch with restless energy, so I slipped out the back door and charged right toward the soil! A round, weathered pinecone lay half-buried beneath broad hosta leaves, guarded by a sprawling colony of damp moss. I let out a sharp chirp, braced my small feet against the loamy ground, and locked both arms under its prickly scales. With a mighty grunt, I heaved upward, dislodging the woody giant from its earthy hollow. It rolled over, defeated, leaving behind a fresh, damp crater ripe for excavation!
