Click and Bounce

I scrambled right onto the wooden shoe bench and found a chunky clicky pen resting near a giant winter scarf! The chrome button on top looked just like a mini launchpad. I jumped straight onto it with both heels—CLICK! The internal spring kicked back hard, snapping the ink tip out front with a sharp metallic crack! Whoa! I hopped again—CLACK! It retracted and bounced me right up into the air! I stomped the button four times in a row like an agility track until my foot slid off the rim. Whoosh! I tumbled right backward into a fluffy pile of wool fringe. Best trampoline ever!
