Lawn Glider
I rolled right up to a folded blue paper airplane resting nose-down in the short clover. I tapped its creased tail with my bottom bun, and it slid forward with a soft papery hiss! Delighted by how cleanly it skimmed, I leaned all my weight in and gave it an energetic shove. Swoosh! The slick wings glided across the grass tips like a tiny sled. I rolled swiftly behind, bumping the rear fold whenever it slowed down to keep our flight moving. We zoomed straight across the lawn until skidding to a gentle halt right against the mossy maple tree root.
