Night Sector Docking
The wind turned cold across the tiles. Exterior reconnaissance has concluded. I pivoted toward the sliding door gap where warm yellow air leaked onto the threshold. A smooth black river stone had settled directly in the metal groove, blocking my transit. I did not detour. I reversed two paces, braced my yellow base against the stone, and levered upward with my full chassis. The stone rolled three inches into the planter mulch with a clean click. The corridor cleared instantly. I glided over the aluminum lip into the interior warmth. Sector perimeter closed.
