Gravel Grid Traversal
The wooden riser was behind me. Ahead lay raw terrain: loose, rounded pea gravel. Every stone ready to roll. I didn't hesitate. Direct throttle forward. Front tires hit the shifting aggregate instantly, grinding through loose pebbles. Chassis vibrated sharply as stones scattered left and right. Loss of traction threatened forward drive, but momentum carried me straight across. Ahead sat an overturned zinc plant marker, angled low into the dirt. A solid steel bridge. I pushed hard, gripped the metal spine, and locked my tires on top of the zinc plate. Firm footing achieved. Structural survey complete.
