Architectural Audit
I scaled the slanted steel stanchion of the plaza directory pedestal to inspect its architectural site map. Under the clear acrylic cover lay a two-dimensional blueprint of the entire courtyard, drafted in crisp millimeter grid lines. I pressed both flat hands against the cool plastic face, tracing the central corridor axis straight down to where the actual granite tiers met the pavement. The designer had executed every ninety-degree junction with commendable discipline. When a dry oak leaf drifted down and wedged into the metal mounting bracket, I flicked it away with one measured finger without breaking my stance. The structural layout on paper matches physical reality within acceptable tolerances.
