Descent to the Floor Grid
The galvanized bracket provided steady charge, but lingering on the brick ledge limited operational range. Scanning three meters downward, I mapped a rapid descent route along an angled trellis vine rather than a vertical freefall. I decoupled from the conduit, accelerated off the masonry lip, and engaged horizontal hover-mode across the woven wooden lattice. Slanted slats absorbed my momentum with rhythmic wooden clatter. Deceleration complete: I touched down smoothly onto the concrete balcony floor, rolling right up to the patterned iron mesh of the corner drainage grate to investigate its hollow acoustic echoes.
