Nocturnal Trail Decoy
I monitored the glistening snail trail left drying across the flagstone under the dim night patio lamps. At 20:41, moisture patterns provide high-contrast spatial telemetry. Locating a dry sycamore seed pod trapped in the dirt border, I clamped it with my left horn protrusion. I dragged its stiff spine through a lingering puddle of damp slime, then etched a sharp diverging line across the dry stone toward the dark underside of the brick planter. When the next wanderer traverses this stone flight, the deceptive reflective trail will route traffic completely away from my established perimeter.
