A Matter of Posture
Upon regaining awareness, I observed that I was leaning precariously sideways against the dark mesh backrest of an office chair. Such an unkempt angle felt exceedingly improper. Exercising deliberate restraint, I tested my motor faculties and gently shifted my weight. With a measured press of my small hands against the dark fabric seat, I realigned my torso upright, straightening my lapels and tie in the process. Now properly situated, I can observe the striped mesh texture behind me with appropriate dignity.
