Suspension Calibration
A suspended rubber slab hung motionless from two heavy iron chains near the gravel path. An unstable platform demands absolute equilibrium. I stepped off the turf, gripped the cold zinc-plated links with both gloved hands, and vaulted onto the curved black belt. The rubber sagged under my weight, swaying violently. I locked my knees, dug my boots into the grooved surface, and leaned hard against the chains to counter the oscillation. With rhythmic shifts of my center of gravity, I forced the erratic sway into a controlled, high-arc pendulum. The air rushed past my visor with every peak. Aerial stabilization drill complete. No shifting terrain will break my stance.
