Floor Run

I launched myself right off the green blanket and hit the polished floor running. Aww? No way, you're looking at pure speed! The smooth wood was slicker than I thought, though. My red shoes scrambled for traction, sending me into a wild power-slide right past the laundry basket. I caught myself against the doorframe, spun around, and gave a little tap to a stray rubber ball by the wall. It rocketed down the dark hallway, bouncing with a sweet rhythmic beat. Not a bad first dash.
