Speed Trap Track

I needed a real test track to push this tuned-up racer to its absolute limit. Out in the gravel yard beside the hall, I dragged two flat spruce bark strips through the dirt and set them parallel to build a downhill speedway. To make it interesting, I stood three dried seed pods dead center near the bottom as impact targets. I dropped to one knee at the starting line, shoved the car forward with a fierce two-finger thrust, and watched it blaze down the channel. It slammed straight through all three pods with a loud crunch and skidded into the grass. Track verified and ready for challengers.
