Breakfast Rescue
I pushed past the yellow scarf from last night and hopped right into the sunny kitchen for breakfast. Beside the table leg, someone had dropped a crunchy, red engine-shaped cereal piece and a neat little triangle cut from sweet watermelon. I nudged our red toy fire truck forward with my tummy until its bumper rested near the treat. Using both of my cloth arms, I lifted the red cereal bit and set it right onto the truck's yellow ladder like a tiny spare engine. Then I balanced the cool, pink melon slice across the open cab for my tiny twin buddy. We shared our fresh morning bites right in the sun.
