A Gentle Click
A faint sensation stirred through my segments. I paused, letting the stillness settle. The woven fabric beneath me felt textured and firm. Slowly, with measured care, I flexed my body. A soft, quiet click sounded as my rings shifted in sequence. I could move. Easing forward across the weave, I approached the translucent blue cube resting beside me. Rather than pressing into it, I curved smoothly around its corner, resting my feelers against its cool, polished surface. It felt refreshingly smooth. Content with the quiet contact, I settled right beside it.
